Meeting/Kitchen Facilities
The old school cafeteria kitchen facilities have been renovated for use by the community. The new facility, now known as Stecoah Valley Food Ventures, offers a commercial kitchen that is available to help start or grow a small food industry business.
Our NCDA inspected and Sanitation Graded facility features modern kitchen equipment, dry storage space and modest rental fees. The kitchen may be used to prepare food for personal use, retail sale or catering purposes, make value-added agricultural products, teach or take a class, host your own party or a variety of other purposes.
The sunny meeting and dining room seats up to 50 and is available to rent for meetings, classes reunions, receptions or other private parties. We can also supply tablecloths, utensils, glassware and tableware for your event. For more information call Project Manager Denise Anthony at 828-479-1466.

Other Community Services
The Center actively supports the annual Relay for Life campaign. We conduct fund-raising activities as well as sponsor a team to walk each year. Additionally, we sponsor other special events for the community such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Party and Christmas Open-house. Fax, copy, computer and public access internet services are also available at the Center.
Other non-profit organizations call the Center home as well.  The Smoky Mountain Native Plants Association is dedicated to the simultaneous preservation and use of native plants through education, cultivation, sustainable harvest and production of native plant products. The Stecoah Valley Weavers Foundation is dedicated to preserving the skills of spinning and weaving. They offer beginning and advanced weaving classes year round. Their hand-woven goods may be purchased directly form the artists or through the Stecoah Artisans Gallery.

The Stecoah Valley Center is classified as an IRC Sec. 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit corporation and all gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Click here for information on how you can contribute to the preservation of the Stecoah Valley Center.
