Weaving classes are taught at various times
during the year. No experience is necessary. Beginning weavers learn
the basics of setting up a loom from winding a warp, threading the loom
to weaving a small project.
Additional special classes for specific weave structures, patterns,
types of yarn, or different products are held as the interest and need
arise. Weavers may take a woven piece home showing the different skills
they have learned.
A minimum number of students is required for the
different classes. Call 828-735-2360 for time and type of classes available.
Tax deductible donations to the Foundation are a great way to help preserve the weaving arts and are always welcome. |
